1. Eligibility for Refunds
Cooling-Off Period: Customers are entitled to a full refund if the cancellation request is made within 14 days of the policy purchase and no claims have been made, nor has the coverage period started.
Non-Refundable Situations: Refunds will not be provided if:
The coverage period has commenced, regardless of whether any claims have been made.
Claims have been initiated or paid under the policy.
The policy includes non-refundable add-ons or bespoke customization.
2. Refund Process
Request Submission: To request a refund, customers must submit a formal refund request via our customer service portal or email at support@motisure.com. Please include your policy number and proof of purchase.
Review Period: All refund requests are reviewed within 7 business days. Customers will be notified of the refund status via email.
Processing Time: Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days from the approval date and will be credited back to the original payment method.
3. Partial Refunds
Pro-Rated Refunds: If applicable, partial refunds may be offered for certain policies canceled before the coverage start date, minus any applicable administrative fees.
4. Administrative Fees
Refunds are subject to a KES 1000 administrative fee to cover processing costs.
